Next to the honeycomb and daybreak/myth colorways, Nike now presents a third sneaker in the Air Max 1 LAM ACG inspired range. The sneaker comes in a clean brown kelp/white colorway. With a release date set for end of April, the sneaker is now on pre-order.
The shoes utilize Georgetown’s colors of blue and grey. Other features include minimal suede detailing, D-ring lacing loops, and a nontraditional Nike lettering on the heel and tongue. Look for them now at Newcastle-based End.
It looks like Todd Bratrud has done it again. It’s safe to say that the teaser image that we saw earlier really didn’t do the sneaker that we see today much justice at all to be honest.
The shoe is officially called the Nike SB Dunk High 420 “Cheech & Chong” and based on its name it leaves little room for assumption when it comes to its ties to the sticky green. The sneaker features a white canvas upper that fades in much the same fashion as the Statue of Liberty Dunk. The limited edition kick also features a red bandana heel panel and icy translucent outsole. These are set to drop on April 20th 2011.
When Nike released its ‘Hulk’ Dunk in 2003 it was done in all suede. However it appears that the design team played around with other options and thanks to the wonders of eBay we get a look at the shoe that didn’t make the cut.
The Nike SB Dunk High Hulk Leather sample is a totally different shoe. It features a lighter shade of Green that is less textural than the suede that originally released. The sneakers also feature a Tan pebbled leather paneling on the mid foot, toe and ankle. That color is repeated onto the outsole and laces while Black holds down the midsole, swoosh and tongue to help ground the design. This is a pretty rare sample so you already know it’s netting a pretty high price on eBay but its well worth it.

Classic style and maximum comfort are all words that come to mind when describing the Nike Air Max 90. Seen here is a new colorway for the cultural icon set in a White/Deep Burgundy-Varsity Red. White mesh plays softly against the grey and varsity red leather accents on the upper. The usual thick midsole grabs hold to the white, and encapsulates the Air unit in grey. Finally, a varsity red outsole completes the design. This colorway is available worldwide, at select retailers.

It’s almost hard to believe that Lebron James has released eight sneakers with Nike. When you count the Post Season releases that would be a total of 16 different models. For his eighth release he took his signature model and split it into two releases labeled as V1 and V2. The man is definitely a franchise and if you haven’t been keeping up with all of colorways he has of this most recent model i have broken down my top picks so far.

The Nike LeBron 8 V2 has been one of the most successful performance based sneakers of the 2010-2011 NBA season. From extremely loud colorways such as the “South Beach” colorway to more conservative makeps such as the “Cool Grey” colorway, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 has been very intriguing to say the least. We have spotted two new colorways that are set to release next month. One pair is inspired by LeBron James’ first little-league basketball team, the “Summit Lake Hornets”. It features a neutral grey base that is highlighted with orion blue and purple highlights. The second pair, inspired by the New York Yankees color scheme, contains a midnight navy tone that is highlighted with white and silver accents. Check out more photos of these two pairs and look for them to drop at a local Nike retailers very soon.

Said to be inspired by LeBrons Little League Basebell team, the “Summit Lake Hornets”, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 in Grey/Orion Blue/Concord will officially launch on Saturday, March 5. Grey is used over the majority of the Flywire upper, giving the white leather lace stays a lot of room to shine. Orion blue occupies the Nike Swoosh as well as a few other details, while concord outlines the Nike Swoosh and covers the laces and liner. Finally, an orion blue speckled 360 Air max unit sits in the sole, just above the black outsole.
What's better than Basketball, Sneakers, and Music, Michael Angeles of Oslo, put together this very entertaining short video of his Coutdown Pack. Using Stop Motion as the style of choice and a little Chris Rock to keep us entertained, Michael give us a different way to look at our sneaker collection. While watching, I started to wonder how many people actually have the full set of Air Jordans? Do you have all 26 pairs of Jordans?
Another nice sneaker release is coming up in the next couple of months. The Nike Air Pegasus ‘92 returns for Summer 2011 in this refreshing off-white/blue/orange colorway, featuring a mixed nubuck and mesh upper. Official release April 2011.
