Kanye West was spotted rocking the MOST anticipated Nike Air Yeezy 2 alongside Jay-Z this past weekend. The same all black pair with an off white midsole and (presumed) glow-in-the-dark outsole was seen yet again, though the new angles provide us the most telling view we’ve seen yet.
When the images of the "Tokyo23" Air Jordan Retro 5 first surfaced, some speculated that it could be linked to the Jordan Brand's Quai 54 Basketball Tournament in France due to a similarity in colorway between the shoe and special releases for last year's event. However, that look is now being inherited by the brand's hoops tournament in Japan. Quai 54 is getting an all-new look this year, and we have the first images of one of the drops from that collection for you today.
Featuring what appears to be a premium tumbled white leather upper, the shoe is accented by hits of radiant green on the lace tabs, Jumpman branding and the Quai54 embroidery on the heel. Black works the inner liner and midsole, while metallic silver is used for the reflective tongue and "teeth" design. A July 2nd release date is currently assigned to these.
Nike Sportswear has revived the gingham design once again, this time allowing it to grace the timeless Nike Air Force 1 Low model. The shoe itself features a simple design, consisting of subtle white leather, along with black accents on the Nike swoosh, heel, and tongue branding. All of the action really takes place on the shoe’s lining, which boasts the infamous gingham pattern. Find these now at select Nike Sportswear accounts like Shelta.

The Nike Air Max 95 continues to release in new designs. As of late, we’ve seen darker hues grace the classic silhouette, but this time around, the shoe boasts light shades of grey, along with one dark grey hue towards the top. In fact, the shoe’s design is actually reverse, as the shades typically get lighter towards the top of the shoe. Creating some nice contrasts are chlorine blue accents, which are visible on the lace holders, branding, and air sole unite. You can find them now at Nike accounts where they retail for $145.

A new black patent leather colorway of the Christian Louboutin Louis Flat Spikes has released this week. The king of flashy sneakers continues on his quest, making sure that things do not become too subtle. As usual, spikes are placed all over the sneaker, with only the crisp and clean white outer sole acting as a contrast.
Here's one a my favorite spots to cop kix from.

"Over the weekend, the Nike “EKINs” from Los Angeles and San Francisco held a special sneaker Show and Tell event in Culver City. The event allowed sneaker aficionados from LA and the Bay to show off select items in their collections and treat us to the story behind each particular shoe. One after another, sneaker collectors stood in front of a crowd of their peers and told stories of how they worked, hustled, negotiated, or just got plain lucky and came up on their most prized footwear. Despite the stigma often associated with sneaker collectors, the stories were often genuine and endearing. From an Air Jordan 3 birthday gift from a younger sister, to holding up a pair of Air Jordan 7s that were worn by a deceased friend when he died, everyone in the room was touched by the stories they shared."
When BUCKETS MAGAZINE asked DUNKXCHANGE founder and CEO, Gary Hughes, about the origins of DUNKXCHANGE and the inspiration behind it, he responded with the following:
"I actually bought 3 pair of fake Heinekens Dunks from China online that cost me around $1400. I have a wife, kids, and bills to pay. So, when I saved my money for sneakers, I wanted to get the kicks I was paying for. To get duped like that, it crushed me. I could not pay my bills cause some counterfeiters got away with murder. One night, I just had enough. Ironically, it was with a 6-pack of Heinekens. I came up with a concept on paper of a store that had a stage, speakers, a DJ, and a diner in it. After thinking it over, I knew realistically and fiscally, this store was not going to happen. That’s when I came up with the idea for Dunkxchange. The name comes from one of my favorite shoes, the Nike Dunks, and I was inspired by my purchase of fake Heineken Dunks, the name Dunkxchange was created."
A new version of the Nike Air Royal high top sneaker has released this week. The Royal Lite comes in a new perforated suede version. Light grey suede always looks nice and thankfully they did not do much with the upper, to keep it all clean.

The Nike Air Max 90 LE is given a Myth/ Daybreak that we last saw applied to the Nike Air Max 1. For this pair however Black has a much stronger presence which makes a great background for Daybreak and Myth to shine. The sneaker is crafted of leather and mesh as usual but it is still a standout release for the model. Look for them in select stores soon.

Back in March the release of the Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V2 – Entourage, which was inspired by the HBO hit television show. Now we have detailed pictures of a pair of NikeiD Zoom KD IIIs that has followed the same design. The Photo Blue, Varsity Maize, and Black colorway, taken from one of the show’s original billboards, and was very popular on the LeBron model.
The pair shown here was actually created on NikeiD by gentry187 of NT. The shoes feature patent leather on the upper, along with glossy flywire panels, and black and varsity maize accents. The pictures shown here also show the Nike Air Max LeBron colorway so enjoy and let me know which one you think was better or if you like both.
Shown here is a new colorway in the Air Jordan 1 GS. The shoe has a black canvas construction almost like a dark denim design. Lighter portions are used on the toe and quarter panels, while alarming red accents on the branding and outsole give the shoes a great look. The dark upper sits atop a classic white midsole, which is a staple design of the timeless silhouette. You can find these in kids’ sizes now via Finishline.
