Last year the red bottom 11's dropped and there was no hype but something tells me things will change this time around.

Air Jordan XI ‘University Blue’

Here’s a look at yet another piece of Air Jordan XI greatness – the University Blue/Black-White sample; much like the Air Jordan X sample we showed you yesterday, this sample features a tonal University Blue upper with a White Jumpman logo on the heel and a black mesh-weave inner lining. Curiously enough, these are dated as Spring 2010, while the Air Jordan X sample was due in Spring of 2008. Additionally, you may attribute these to the Pantone 284 Collection that was on display at the Jordan Brand ‘For The Love Of The Game’ pop-up exhibit in Harlem during 2010′s World Basketball Festival, but these do not feature the laser-graphic upper (but instead a leather material seen on the Cool Grey XI).

Air Jordan XI ‘Blackout’

Just when you thought you saw it all – the PEs, the one-of-ones, the Team Exclusives that we’ve featured on Sneaker News time and time again – this majestic sample pops up at the height of Air Jordan XI superstardom. We’ll give you a second to wipe the drool off your chin. This Air Jordan XI ‘Blackout’ sample features a full-black exterior, with black patent leather, a black mesh upper, black leather heel, and more interesting, the black midsole – something we’ve never seen on an Air Jordan XI until the women’s IE Low release of 2007. This blackout sample is definitely more ‘Batmobile’ than it is ‘Lawnmower’, exuding a sneaker sex appeal that’ll have the sneakerhead circles buzzing and uplifting excitement once again, acting as ‘yang’ to the Silver Anniversary’s ‘yin’. Will these release? Based on the shoetag, it appears that these were destined for a Holiday 2010 release (possibly a Black Friday release), but for now, there doesn’t seem to be any plans for arrival. You can, however place your bid on these samples, but we’ll give you a heads up that this particular bidding experience will be slugfest. Check out the detailed images below and go ahead to the listing from brokeonjordans on eBay. - Via sneakernews.com

My Last Concord Recap world wide post. (videos)

"It's worth getting trampled over just to get them what they need". Your kids don't "need" Jordans. They need food and a education. As long as people are hype'n over kicks like this the higher the prices will go until the middle and lower class will start to try and kill each other because only the upper class will be able to afford it. Mean while nike get paid. Nike rakes in estimated sales of $1 billion a year on Air Jordans. Remind me again of all the things MJ does to give back to the inner city again... still waiting...
It's funny what's important to people now a days.
Smh... For Jordans you locked your babies in the car. wow... Well haa haa to those who didn't get a pair because they went out acting a fool for them and to those who copped a pair after waiting decades in line, my paycheck thanks you and i hope it was worth it.
Final note, Imagine if no one in the world purchased a pair of Jordans on there release date how much of a price drop those high price pieces of cloth cardboard and plastic would be...
Tinker Hatfield At Nike Portland For Concord 11 Release Event

The recently opened Nike Portland. Wristbands were given out the day prior and a special event at 7 AM was held for those who purchased the shoes; Air Jordan XIs were on display (OG and Retro Concords, Retro+ colorways like the ‘Snakeskin’) as was a rare sketch drawing of the Air Jordan XI. Tinker Hatfield, the designer of the massive cultural fashion phenomenon, was on hand to autograph Concord XI boxes for the event’s attendees. We’ve got some shots from the event from oregonlive and nikeblog so take a look at this great even and if you haven’t copped your Concords yet, pick up a pair now on eBay. - Via Sneakernews

Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” Releasing?

There have been rumors floating around about the Air Jordan XI “Columbia” and its fabled return for the Holiday season in 2012. While there has been no formal announcement, we have received word from a trusted source that the shoe will be making its grand appearance for Holiday 2012. Of course this year we all will be set to get our hands on the Concords, but it looks like next year we can count on the Columbias to also get us all hyped up for Christmas.

Air Jordan XI – Michael Jordan 25th Anniversary Promo (Sample)

We've been occupied with the Air Jordan XI Holiday craze for the last four years, but let's not be so quick to overlook the 25th Anniversary colorway that hit stores last May! The quirkiest detail of this release was the fact the there was no Jumpman logo on the heel of the shoe, but 25 'Jumpman'ed' pairs of the 25th Anniversary Air Jordan XI were circulated, although not all 25 pairs have been brought to light. Here's a look at Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary Promo Sample that was made just for Michael Jordan himself; as you can clearly see, the heels feature the Jumpman logos in Metallic Silver. Would you have preferred these released with the famous silhouette? Check out these new detailed images below and to place your bid on this rare pair of Air Jordans, check out the auction from pe.samples on eBay.

Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ | Available Early @ Kicks-crew

This is the shoe Michael Jordan wore in 1995-96 when he led the Chicago Bulls to a record 72-wins, and even if it does play the Sonics to Marty McFly's crown-snatching release, it'd take something stronger than defying the laws of physics to keep these from being the biggest Christmas season sneaker release. Grab yours now from Kicks-crew.

Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ – Historical Comparison
Just last night Sneaker News gave you a look at a crisp, deadstock pair of the original Air Jordan XI in the White/Black-Dark Concord colorway. You know, the Jordans that Michael wore a bit too early (against the wishes of Tinker Hatfield)? Michael also reverted back to his original '23' after Nick Anderson, his counterpart at the Shooting Guard position, said Michael wasn't his old self. We've seen a number of variations of this astounding Air Jordan shoe, from the original to the 2000 Retro release, to the upcoming 2011 Retro, and let's not forget the Defining Moments Package edition that didn't feature any Dark Concord at all. Here we have a true alignment of the stars - a side-by-side (by side-by-side-by-side) comparison of five different Concord varieties.

The shoes will make their way to JB accounts tomorrow, July 16, 2011. Instead of patent leather, this low-top version of the classic shoe puts black leather to use, while matching black cement print makes its way onto the shoe in several places. Contrasting the dark hue are red and white accents, which in the end create a classic color scheme. Look for them to retail for $120.
