Nike LeBron 8 (VIII) x DJ Clark Kent “112″

We’ve seen DJ Clark Kent’s signature color scheme grace many a shoe, including LeBron James’ previous signature shoe, the Nike Air Max LeBron 7. Today we are getting an initial look at his version in LeBron’s latest shoe, the Nike LeBron 8 (VIII). The shoe features black suede and black cement print, along with a vibrant neon accenting hue. No word as to whether they will ever release, but don’t hold your breathe, as they will probably exclusive to DJ Clark Kent, LeBron, and a few friends.

Nike LeBron 8 ‘Denim’

Surely another photo set may pop up but chances are unless you bump into DJ Clark Kent while wearing them or see them at a sneaker convention this is your only shot. Here you can get a good look at the shoes that are draped in denim with their exposed Black flywire paneling. Gold accents and a Gum sole really play well into the denim theme and make this a fantastic looking shoe.

LeBron 8 V2 ‘South Beach’ by Mizzee Customs

For Mizzee Custom’s latest commission he was tapped by Deftronic to take a pair of Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V2′s on a trip to South Beach. As you know the South Beach LeBron was a V1 model so seeing the colorway applied to this version of the sneaker is pretty cool.

Mizzee gave the sneaker that signature Teal ‘South Beach’ upper and a few choice details like reworking the tongue and making the Air Max unit Pink. The sneaker holds up well against the original South Beach model and looks great in general. Great job by Mizzee and we can’t help but to be a bit jealous of Deftronic for his cool custom kicks.

Metallic Silver bouncing off of the Wolf Grey upper really sells this one. The White outsole helps to hike up the contrast a bit and seal the deal also. How many of you have foregone the Jordan 5 Wolf Grey for the pending release of these?

NIKE LEBRON 8 V2 “SUMMIT LAKE HORNETS” & “YANKEES”

The Nike LeBron 8 V2 has been one of the most successful performance based sneakers of the 2010-2011 NBA season. From extremely loud colorways such as the “South Beach” colorway to more conservative makeps such as the “Cool Grey” colorway, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 has been very intriguing to say the least. We have spotted two new colorways that are set to release next month. One pair is inspired by LeBron James’ first little-league basketball team, the “Summit Lake Hornets”. It features a neutral grey base that is highlighted with orion blue and purple highlights. The second pair, inspired by the New York Yankees color scheme, contains a midnight navy tone that is highlighted with white and silver accents. Check out more photos of these two pairs and look for them to drop at a local Nike retailers very soon.

Said to be inspired by LeBrons Little League Basebell team, the “Summit Lake Hornets”, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 in Grey/Orion Blue/Concord will officially launch on Saturday, March 5. Grey is used over the majority of the Flywire upper, giving the white leather lace stays a lot of room to shine. Orion blue occupies the Nike Swoosh as well as a few other details, while concord outlines the Nike Swoosh and covers the laces and liner. Finally, an orion blue speckled 360 Air max unit sits in the sole, just above the black outsole.

Nike LeBron 8 “China Edition”

With a new season comes an all new LeBron James signature shoe. The LEBRON 8 is built on a basketball specific Max Air 360 unit – combined with Flywire technology – for the ultimate cushioning with lightweight comfort and lockdown control. With a luxurious, supple all-natural leather upper, the LEBRON 8 is classically crafted and modeled after the shell of a dress shoe. Functional detailing in the perimeter of the outsole provides flexibility while representing LeBron’s personal inspiration points. Lightweight multidirectional herringbone pattern specifically designed for LeBron’s first step and his quick cuts.

The China Edition sports in white and red, in addition, a speckled max air unit and icy sole. The lion on the front-side of the tongue represents LeBron’s ravenous nature – like that of a hunter on the basketball court. The China Edition replaced the western lion style to the ancient Chinese style lion rock. The same lion rock is also featured on the back heel as well as the sole.

The tongue-back label is a nod to bespoke off court attire, and highlights the crafted nature of the LEBRON 8 made specifically for Mr. LeBron James. The numbers 828 represent the 82 regular season games and the 28 playoff games.
The Swoosh design was moved back on the LEBRON 8 towards the rear of the shoe, ending on unique spoiler loop, to symbolize LeBron’s speed on court. Max Air 360 unit was designed for ultimate cushioning and impact protection.
