Air Jordan Retro 4 - Thunder

Six years later, the Jordan Brand is surprising us with an unexpected re-release of the "Thunder" Air Jordan 4. Originally part of the LS series, the shoe sports a black nubuck base with contrasting yellow accents on the lace tabs, mesh underlayer, tongue lining and midsole. White jumps in the mix for Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel.

Fat Joe sneak peeks his Air Jordans 1 Through V

Fat Joe was recently crowned as one of the twenty-five greatest sneakerhead celebrities of all-time, but if that list had a hard ranking, there’s no question that Joe would be, at the very least, in the Top 5. Fat Joe’s been stashing kicks for years (some of you may remember his infamous sole-licking scene in MTV Cribs), and he recently decided to show off, through Twitter, some of his Air Jordans (as well as his rudimentary counting abilities). One pair of Air Jordan 1s, two pairs of IIs, three IIIs, a quartet of IVs, and a starting line-up of Vs make up fifteen total pairs in this small peek into his massive collection.

Air Jordan IV 2012 Retro Packaging

One of the increasingly cool upgrades we’ve seen pumped into the retro production of Air Jordan models is the usage of special packaging. The Air Jordan XI models of the past few years have utilized the sliding box, and the Air Jordan III releases from last year took it back to an OG look with their elephant print box. Expect the hotly anticipated string of Air Jordan IV release from next year to take a similar approach, with the White/Cement colorway shown here coming with the cement speckled box. An small change to the original is also in place, with the circular hole on the bottom half of the box. Follow us after the jump for a better look and pick these up early if you just can’t wait, via el-store on eBay.

Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Fire Red’ Returning in 2012

As you should already know, 2012 will see the release of the white cement version of the Air Jordan 4s, and now we are learning that the Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Fire Red’ will also make its way back to shelves. Back in 2006, Jordan Brand released the “Mars” version, which is essentially the same thing, but the Spike Lee logo is seen on the heel. The “Fire Red” 4s originally released back in 1989, but have not been retroed in OG form since! As of now there is no word as to a specific release date, but stay tuned in for more information.

Air Jordan IV GS Voltage Cherry / Black – White

2011 isn't even over yet and we are already seeing 2012 February heat as Jordan Brand has just let slip images of a new Voltage Cherry Air Jordan 4 in GS sizes. Tagged with the Love of the Game icon on the heel, the Air Jordan 4′s color-up makes a perfect compliment to the icon. Black accents contrast the design, while a white midsole and insole finish up the look.
