Nike Air Griffey Max II – Midnight Navy / White – Chlorine Blue

Nike must have ran out of ideas or they are just feeling nostalgic with all the retros of Ken Griffey Jr’s that have dropped for a player who is retired. The upper sports a mainly midnight navy colorway constructed from nubuck, along with minimal chlorine blue accents. The two colors play well together and the use of white simply adds some more contrast to the design. These are set to hit shelves on May 28th and will be priced at $140. Available now on eBay.

Nike Air Griffey Max II – Summer 2011

The Nike Air Griffey Max II is slated to make its return to retail next summer and following the success of Nike Air Griffey Max 1′s rerelease its sure to be met with a very warm reception. The Seattle Mariners themed sneaker features a majority black build with teal accents to match. As of now we don’t have an exact date but we do have a hunch that the shoes will also be releasing in quite a few colorways. How do your guys feel about this retro seeing the light of day?
