Available this weekend at Cool Js Jordan Six Rings “Carbon Fiber”

Carbon Fiber has always struck a chord with sneaker fans, even more so since I capture the Carbon Fiber 11 Lows back at All-Star weekend. The was first spotted back in June, and it looks like Jordan Brand is revealing some new images of the sneakers. Carbon fiber, suede, and synthetics layer the upper in dark grey and black tones, with a slim white midsole providing some contrast. The Six Rings is set to hit Jordan Brand accounts on September 17.

Jordan 6 Rings Carbon Fiber

The Air Jordan Legacy embraced non-conventional sneaker design by introducing a number of 'foreign' materials like 3M-reflective material (made famous by the Air Jordan V) and patent leather (immortalized by the Air Jordan XI). Another unique material that has become popular across the board for Nike and Jordan Brand is carbon fiber, which also debuted on the Air Jordan XI in the form of a midfoot spring plate that gave Michael an added 'umph' in flight. We've seen full-3M and full Patent Leather Jordan 6 Rings releases, but this September 17th, we'll see a full-Carbon Fiber version of the hybrid shoe, taking on a tonal black upper with grey and white accents (a similar combo to a Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 that dropped earlier this year).
