Nike Air Max Light – Black / Volt

The sneaker features a mainly Black upper done in nubuck and mesh. Volt accents are found on the outsole and branding as well as the top eyelet. Nike Air Max Light “Homegrown” Custom

Custom Kicks have become a part of sneaker culture. Many times, the designs created are so engaging that fans wish they were actually released by the brand. The shoes shown here are a perfect example of what i'm talking about. They were designed by Jake Danklefs, and the shoe of choice is the classic Nike Air Max Light.

He applied the classic Nike Air Max 90 “Homegrown” colorway to the shoe, which was released back in December 2006. The shoes feature a Dutch inspiration, consisting of green leather and mesh, as well as bright red accents. Finishing off the design is a classic white midsole and gum rubber outsole. Nike Air Max Light – White/Blue Lacquer-Daring Red

Something about the design of the Nike Air Max Light makes it really go over well when it is placed into the WMNS colorway box. The sneaker is given this White/Blue Lacquer-Daring Red colorway that looks a bit out of tune with the seasons but fresh nonetheless.

Most of the Blue Lacquer is used on the mudguard and outsole while a very soft grey rides the swoosh and lace plates. This gives the Daring Red an opportunity to shine although it comes in very short supply and is only used on a portion of the outsole, the visible air sole and tongue tag.
