The Nike Air Force 1 High has been making some big moves this year, turning heads once again with the ‘Duckboot’ and VT series of upgrades. The unassuming medium grey/team red combo gets some neat detailing with the material progression from front to back, as the tumbled look from the posterior fades away when the shoe reaches the toe box.

Nike Air Force 1 iD – Premium Boot Leather Samples

The Nike Air Force 1 iD seems to become available in spurts, and its most recent appearance brought along some great new materials – premium boot leather. Here are some completed samples of the Nike Air Force 1 iD with the boot leather material; the High features a military-inspired colorway of Iguana, Black, and Orange (Very ‘Undefeated Air Jordan IV‘) while the low grasps that early-decade flair with two tones of brown and royal blue (Newcastle, anyone?). Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke – @ Nike Harajuku

Tokyo got another taste of the Big Apple during the last week of August as the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience once again descended upon Nike Harajuku. This typically 21 Mercer-exclusive ultra-premium customization service provided the Japanese consumers with an unusually luxe array of materials, and we have three very different examples of what they created. They range from a low-key tonal brown that stands out for its use of natural cork to a glittery black patent-on-volt look with plenty of colorful pixelation in between. Nike Air Force 1 Low – John Strickland ‘Finish Your Breakfast’

Few, if any at all, carry the amount of respect and tradition as the Nike Air Force 1 Low. It's no wonder that it's often used for commemorative releases and special editions, like this distinct all-white Air Force 1 Low made in honor of streetball legend John 'Franchise' Strickland. Strickland, who passed away last year, was also a childhood friend of Brooklyn-born hip-hop artist Jay-Z; Strickland coined the phrase 'Finish Your Breakfast', which described the act of 'schooling' your defender and scoring off the dribble, and was later used by Jay-Z in the 'PSA' track in The Black Album. Strickland's death last October left a profound indent in the basketball and streetball circle, with numerous figures in support expressing support and mourning.

While all-white in nature, the Air Force 1 Low 'Finish Your Breakfast' features a number of personalized details, like the tongue label, a Nike NYC logo on the insole, 'Franchise' molded into the leather on the heels, and 'XI' featured on the heel-tabs. According to fendi_nyc on ISS, the quality of the leather used is of premium grade, and reminiscent of Air Force 1 Low releases from over a decade ago. He further states that the 'Finish Your Breakfast' Air Force 1 Low will be a very limited release in the coming months - possibly in October to recognize the one-year anniversary of his untimely passing.

Nike Air Force 1 ‘Tonal Suede’ Fall 2011

The Nike Air Force 1 is one of those iconic sneakers that you should not play around with too much. Keep it clean and the sneaker will serve you well. For Fall 2011 Nike has done just that and present two tonal suede color-ups. A light grey suede and a red suede come as part of the pack, both featuring matching tonal leather Swooshs and a little contrast on the outer sole. Overall two great looking versions of the low top sneaker.

Nike Air Force 1 Brazil ‘It Is Possible’

Nike Sportswear has produced a special Air Force 1 Low Brazil, which will be released exclusively on the Brazilian market. Designed by the MC’s Emicida, Pixote and Xará and DJ Toddy, the sneaker celebrates the urban roots and unique culture of the country. The story told by the sneaker and its various elements, will also be showcased in the form of a short documentary, “É Possivel” (“it is possible”), which gave the sneaker its name. The documentary heavily focusses on the influence of the basketball sport on culture.

The Nike Air Force 1 Brazil ‘E Possivel’ will be released September 6th on the Brazilian market.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Vac Tech – Grey Wool

The dark Grey upper is trimmed in a lighter shade of grey as a leather liner and midsole with a darker Grey outsole also being used. We don’t have any release information for this sneaker and they will be in limited supply.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Fran Marchello

Today we take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke created by Fran Marchellohe. Fran used a variety of vibrant colorways, and used the “Pikachu” character from Pokemon as a source of inspiration. The shoe sports yellow patent leather on the area surrounding the toe, as well as the shoe lacing tabs, while orange suede is utilized on the toe and back. Minimal black hints are used, while the design if finished off with blue waxed laces.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke – Available Monday @ Nike Harajuku

The Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Experience will hit Nike Harajuku once again as a six-day pop-up event, with Nike iD Consultant Iz Mateo joining the Nike Harajuku team to assist designers with their Bespoke creations. With limited availability of Bespoke reservations, Nike Harajuku is anticipating that all reservations will get snatched up rather quickly based on how last year's Bespoke pop-up event was in such high demand. This custom Uptown offers its own take on 'South Beach' with a colorway closer to the 'Orange County' Zoom Kobe VI depicting a oceanside skyline complete with palm trees, sea gulls and a setting sun.

Penny Hardaway's 1-of-1 Nike Air Force 1

I caught a glimpse of these the other day and thought that they were pretty dope. The orlando magic colorway was always a good look when it comes to kix and Penny's signature logo will always be synonymous with the Orlando Magics. Read the write up below courtesy of Sole about these forces.
