Nike Air Max Uptempo 2 – ‘Duke’

Nike Retro releases have become rather common these days, haven't they? Most of the Nike Barkley line has made its way to store shelves, and three Griffey models have been crossed off the list as well. The Air Max Uptempo 2 is one shoe that was already re-released, and it'll make its way back to store shelves this Holiday season. Many of our readers have expressed a desire to cop these, so for the jersey collectors out there, do you rock these with a Duke uni, or a mid-90s Chris Webber Golden State jersey? Check out the new images below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on new colorways of the Air Max Uptempo 2, and let us know if you'll cop these come Winter-time.

Nike Air Max Light – Black / Volt

The sneaker features a mainly Black upper done in nubuck and mesh. Volt accents are found on the outsole and branding as well as the top eyelet. This attention grabbing job of color blocking is very easy on the eyes and hard not to notice. No word on availability just yet but check in with your local retailer soon.

Nike Air Max BW

The Obsidian / Wolf Gray – White colorway is almost too much of a good thing by combining two of the seasons hottest colors over a not too often seen Air Max silhouette. The Nike Air Max BW does a great job of housing the hues however with the help of White being thrown into the mix and balancing things out. These are exclusive to JD Sports if you want them.

Nike Air Max Nomo

Bringing back a bit of nostalgia from the ‘90s, Nike brings back the Air Max Nomo retro that had a type of cult following back in the day. First released in 1996, this baseball/training shoe was the signature model for emerging pitching sensation Hideo Nomo from Japan. Nomo was known not only for his quirky “tornado” wind up but also as the first Japanese-born player to play in the Major Leagues in over 30 years. He was the first of what would become many Japanese players to eventually make it to The Bigs. Nike chose to go with one of the original colorways of the shoe featuring a Varsity Red nubuck upper contrasted by the black mesh “teeth” that gave this shoe its distinction. Similar to the Air Griffey Max 1, the midsole is constructed with a Varsity Maize Air bubble ride. This is the first time Nike has brought back the Air Max Nomo so don’t sleep on this release.

Nike Air Max+ 2010 – Air Attack Pack – Volt

Photobucket

Of the Air Attack Pack’s Air Max+ 2010 onslaught one color way really stands out among the rest. This Volt colored one just makes you stare. It may not be your cup of tea but at the end of the day you gotta admit its pretty riveting.
Here are a few new images of it in all of its flywire and mesh glory. The black outsole kinda helps break the scheme up but the overall look of the shoe is that of a thing that can’t be broken up. It simply stands out too far. How do you all feel about this one?

Nike Air Max BW Gen II France World Cup

The blued up shoe features Torch technology and great colorful red/white accents that help get the point across on this one. With a white midsole, swoosh and laces helping to set the stage for red on the visible air and tongue embroidery these come across as the clear winners of the race.

Nike Air Max Uptempo III White / Black / Navy

Photobucket

The Nike Air Max Uptempo III is a vintage classic with a great design. It was one of those ahead of its time models that couldn’t fully be appreciated for its look until now. Looks like its jumpin back out the box in a great new color way of
white/black/navy that serves to satiate that retro release tooth of yours. The OG color way goes hard as usual with awesome accents and great materials that are both rugged on court and smooth off court. Factor in the comfort that that visible air sole gives and you got yourself a winner.
