Adidas Originals Run DMC Pack

Adidas Originals is preparing to launch an all-new Run DMC collection next month.

Highlighting the collection is the limited edition Run DMC Superstar 80s, complete with a printed leather sockliner, regular and fat lacing and elastic tongue construction. The style allows wearers to emulate the Queens trio by wearing the shoes without laces. The new Run DMC Pack will hit adidas.com and adidas retailers in a limited capacity in September.

Rick Owens for adidas Spring 2014 Preview

After rumors that Rick Owens and adidas were working on a new running design, a first look at the shoe was revealed yesterday at Paris Fashion Week. Debuting on the runway during Owens' Spring 2014 menswear show, the new silhouette largely follows the American designer's avant-garde aesthetic -- a bulbous, two-piece sole supports a minimal leather upper with a dramatic, oversized tongue and collar. The Three Stripes appear on the side in subtle perforated fashion.

Adidas Consortium Boston Super OG

Originally designed for the 1984 Boston Marathon, the Boston Super running shoe is back all these years later, thanks to adidas Consortium.

The Boston Super OG features a vintage running shoe look with brushed suede and mesh upper in navy blue with accents in yellow, for a colorway inspired by the Boston Athletic Association's official colors.

adidas Consortium Match Play - "WCAP" Pack

adidas Consortium revealed a unique new colorway of the classic Match Play this week, part of the upcoming Water Color Animal Print (WCAP) pack. This special Match Play colorway features a wavy leopard print upper, complimented with a red heel tab and tongue pull. The Consortium logo, as usual, is placed discreetly behind the tongue.

The BAPE x Undefeated x adidas Stan Smith features a suede and smooth leather upper, gold foil branding and "BAPE camo" filling the tongue and lining.

BAPE x Undefeated x adidas Consortium ZX 5000

After recently looking at the new BAPE x Undefeated Fall/Winter 2012 Collection, we get today a first look at the exciting collaboration between the two brands and adidas Originals.

Due to come out in October, Bape and Undefeated teamed up with adidas Originals on the ZX 5000 and another sneaker, that we cannot reveal yet. The ZX 5000 was now first shown on the cover of the latest issue of Sneaker Freaker Magazine.

The running shoe features the Bape camouflage pattern all over, along with tricolor Stripes logo on the side-panels. This will without any doubt be one of the best sneakers of the season. - VIA Highsnobiety.com

Run-DMC x adidas Originals Superstar 80s – ‘Meet DMC’ Events

Dookie ropes, sleve-rolled blazers, leg warmers and shoulder pads are the kinds of fashion cues more commonly seen in costume or ironic form these days than during their mid-’80s heyday, and that just goes to show how perfect of a design the adidas Originals Superstar ’80s really was/is. Now a quarter-century after its debut, the Superstar shelltoes get a special nod from The Brand with the Three Stripes, this new release commemorating the pioneering rap group who broke ground both musically and in collaborative marketing. The Run-D.M.C Superstars are set to release this Friday, which means that shortly after Darryl McDaniels arrives at Dr. Jays Harlem, it’ll be 11:11 on 11/11/11. DMC will then follow that appearance with another stop at the adidas Originals flagship at 5pm.

Adidas Superstar + Run DMC My adidas 25th Anniversary

DMC may have eschewed the voice that made him famouse, Jam Master Jay may no longer be with us and Run may be hocking a different line of products all together but their ode to adidas still stands as one of hip hop’s brightest moments. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the tunes release adidas will be pushing out a special edition of the Superstar in Black / White that comes with a few special surprises in the form of a lacelock and redesigned packaging. Chapter - Adidas Forum Mid ‘Leopard’

This time the classic adidas Forum shoe gets spotted with a Leopard print panel upper that finds faux fur mingling with grain leather for a winning combination. The wild pattern is found on the toe, tongue, side panel and ankle while the rest is trimmed in Black leather with Gold detailing. Finished off with a White midsole and Gum outsole.

Disney x adidas Originals Superstar II ‘Mickey X’

Even if you think you have outgrown cartoons you have got to admit that this is just flat out cool. Disney and adidas have teamed up to bring us the Mickey X which is a Mickey Mouse themed Superstar II with a style that is anything but childish. The sneaker features a Black leather upper with White crossbones with Mickey’s hands and feet at the tips. The tongues depict a scowling Mickey head while if you flip to the insoles you can see him strutting his stuff from left to right sneakers. These are available now at select retailers in limited numbers.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS FORUM MID STAR WARS - "HAN SOLO"

Arriving at adidas Originals accounts this month is a new Forum Mid from the Star Wars Collection inspired by Rebel Alliance general Han Solo. Taking on a military flight jacket theme, the shoe features an olive green nylon build with metal zipper detailing. The tongue is adorned with a Han Solo Portrait, while a Millenium Falcon graphic and "Galactic Scoundrel" text are etched into the lateral side panel. The inner liner is done in vibrant safety orange textile and a chunky white rubber outsole finishes off the look below.

Look for the "Han Solo" adidas Originals Forum Mid S.W. at spots like Mr. R Sports today. Retail is $160.

Star Wars + adidas Originals Superstar 2.0 Hockey

While the Star Wars x adidas Originals collaboration may have died down a bit from when the team-up was first hitting shelves, the saga continues here as adidas is bringing it back after the initial string of releases, apparently taking a page out of the George Lucas playbook. The adidas Originals Superstar 2.0 shown here is inspired by the ice planet Hoth, manifsted in the cool mixture of blues and whites on the upper and the icy soles on bottom. These sneakers rep the Rebel Alliance side of things, with the Alliance logo on the soles and the obvious L. Skywalker logo hit on the heel.
