Rock'n Today, what are you wearing? 7-19-2011

Although the majority of you have voice your discontent with the Jordan Rare Air, many of you surprisingly took a liking to this particular colorway. The Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise”, a sneaker that connects to the ongoing 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship games, is now available at select spots worldwide. The USA theme is ever so present on this sneaker as Midnight Navy covers the majority of the base. Red cement print hints are noticeable on the toe area, heel and midfoot. Other features include a Silver tongue, a speckled midsole and Midnight Navy laces.

Jordan Rare Air Varsity Red/Black-Cement Grey

Back in September we received word of the Jordan Rare Air releasing in a Varsity Red/Black-Cement Grey colorway, and today we have some additional looks at the model. Using leather on the upper, we see it dominated by red with cement grey print on the toe and heel. As we travel up the lace stays and tongue, we are exposed to cool grey as well as black eyelets and laces. Down at the midsole we have a mixture of black and grey enveloping the rear air unit. Look for this hybrid model to release in November for $140.

Jordan Rare Air “United We Rise”

The Rare Air always releases to a split house. The shoe that seemingly can’t win however comes in several winning colorways like this United We Rise version. This FIBA related release features an All-American red, white and blue colorway that is mainly deep navy with perforated nubuck and patent leather while red highlights the elephant print and lining. These look pretty good but as usual the comment section knows what’s best so what say you on this release?
