Air Jordan XIII & Air Jordan I – Anodized Altitude Green

Previewed both here and here, the new retro pack of Air Jordan XIII and 1 are seen here, donning an anodized Altitude Green. These new images of the shoes showcase more of the detailing, such as the embossed Jumpman on the heel as well as the Safari print ankle collar on the 1s. The first of the XIII’s to be debuted since 2005, the sneakers keep true to the original design, using a dimpled mid panel crafted from nylon. Slated to be released on December 15th, you can pick them up at Jordan retailers worldwide.

Nike Air Max Light – White/Blue Lacquer-Daring Red

Something about the design of the Nike Air Max Light makes it really go over well when it is placed into the WMNS colorway box. The sneaker is given this White/Blue Lacquer-Daring Red colorway that looks a bit out of tune with the seasons but fresh nonetheless.

Most of the Blue Lacquer is used on the mudguard and outsole while a very soft grey rides the swoosh and lace plates. This gives the Daring Red an opportunity to shine although it comes in very short supply and is only used on a portion of the outsole, the visible air sole and tongue tag.

Air Jordan XIII – Wolf-Grey/Rose Pink

Another new colorway of the Air Jordan XIII was previewed today, this time done in a color scheme specific to the ladies. Using Wolf Gray, a hue familiar to the Jordan brand, the shoes are accented with Rose Pink along the outsole as well as in the Jordan branding. Traditional to the original release, the shoes are lined with thick fleece and use the hologram Jordan bubble at the ankle. No release date has been set, so keep checking back for info!

Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580

For the first time New Balance worked with a US boutique on a collaboration on the MT580 sneaker. Burn Rubber was given the chance to give the running shoe its own distinct look.

“Historically the New Balance MT580 is a shoe released out of Asia with various collaborators. This marks the first time that the shoe has been collaborated on and brought through by the New Balance America team.

In business since 2004 Burn Rubber is Metro Detroit’s first premium sneaker boutique. The Burn Rubber name is a play on a phrase from the Motor City’s car culture. The name came from the comparison of the use of sneakers on a person to the use of tires on a car. Burn Rubber is known throughout their community as the place to get hard to find, limited edition sneakers and clothing.

Burn Rubber made the shoe their own by applying a shop colored theme and utilizing materials in unique ways. The custom designed argyle pattern that lines the inside of the shoe was created to incorporate all of the company’s branded colors. A reflective 3M material, originally developed to reflect light for night running, was also used throughout the mostly gray shoe to give the design another dimension. The majority of the shoe design is comprised of New Balance’s premium nubuck and gray mesh, and completed with a touch of patent leather and a classic gum sole.

As one of the most recognizable aspects of the Burn Rubber brand they have chosen to include the shop’s mascot on the hangtag provided with each shoe. The Chef, originally created to be “just another T-Shirt design”, ended up taking on a life of its own. The photo shoot for this project was done from the perspective of a chef and was intended to bring light to the story of Burn Rubber’s popular logo & style.”

The Burn Rubber MT580 will be available on November 26th at www.burnrubberdetroit.com and at Burn Rubber’s Royal Oak Location (202 W Fourth Street, Royal Oak, MI 48067).

Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach”

The LeBron 8 “South Beach” has been causing quite a storm since it first popped on the scene a few months ago. Most of us have had to watch from the sidelines, as the shoe was only released in limited quantities in South Beach last month. Well, for all those outside of Florida that have been waiting to grab a pair, select Footaction locations will have them in stock on Friday, November 19. Officially, the colorway is Retro/Black-Pink Flash Filament Green, however, I am sure that everyone will refer to them as “South Beach LeBrons“.

Not all Footaction locations will stock the LeBron “South Beach”, we definitely recommend you give your local store a call before you head out.

ALIFE Everybody High Card

The ALIFE Everybody High Card Hidden Champion Pack is bound to make a gambling man out of anybody. Regardless to if you are a high stakes player or don’t deal in risks at all slipping on a pair of these is all you need to do to get in the game.

The two color drop are available in Black or Olive leather and the unifying theme is the Red lining right along with the Grey outsole. The sneakers feature an embroidered ace of spades on the heel that bears the tag line ‘The High Card” under it while the tongue of the shoe gets a bit more explicit. But what can you expect? After all poker is definitely an adults game.

Nike SB Dunk High – Tan / Obsidian / Red

The shoe features an obsidian quarter panel and ankle with red on the swoosh and laces. The blocking on this one is done very nicely leaving a full heel and toe to be done in a tan suede that matches the gum outsole. A white midsole finishes the affair off nicely, helping to creating one of the nicest colorways we’ve seen this year. Look for them now at Korea-based Kasina, and stay tuned in for information about a stateside release.

Nike LeBron 8 “USA”

The Nike LeBron 8 has had some pretty nice colorway’s so far this year and we don’t think that his camp plans on slowing down any time soon. The shoe has been the benefactor of a few themed colorways and the next one we have been seeing around is this USA colorway.
The bulkier build of the Nike Lebron 8 V1 allows for a white leather upper to take center stage and let the Navy flywire paneling nestle right inside of it. The accompanying colors are used very well by way of those panels as well as a Navy sole and Red tongue. These are set to release on November 24th and they should not be too hard to find at all.

Nike Air Max 90

Nike’s new color ‘du jour’ seems to be Deep Garnet and they have the kicks to prove it. So far we have seen it on a Blazer Vintage, Dunk Hi and Dunk High Premium and now we can add the Nike Air Max 90 to that lineup.
The silhouette is typically a knockout regardless to what color we see applied but this time around we Deep Garnet/White version that is a mix of materials that adds some impressive tonality. Patent leather, grain leather and mesh all are done in Deep Garnett while White falls into the areas typically populated by the secondary color used in a two color blocking on these sneakers.

Air Jordan Winterized Spizike

The Winterized version of the Jordan Spizike is yet another ploy by JB to keep fans intrigued. We’ve already seen several versions drop, with the latest shown here. This version blends a light charcoal and grey upper along with purple ink accents. The base of the upper features the infamous cement print, while the shoe is fitted with a heavy-duty sole for those cold winter months. You can find them now at select accounts including Extra Butter.

Supra – Thunder Hightop TUF

Supra’s Thunder Hightop, the signature shoe that Jim Greco designed, is now available at Shelta as part of Supra’s Holiday drop. Using Black Waxed Canvas all over the upper, the shoes are water-resistant, making them weatherproof for the Winter. Released under Supra’s in house TUF label, they are durable enough to withstand coming seasons as well.

Nike SB – Newsprint Blazer Hi

Originally thought to be a scrapped sample, the Newsprint Nike SB Blazer has found it’s way to the shelves of Nike SB stockists, such as Active. Using a predominately monotone colorway, the Blazer is done in Black, Gray and White, using suede all over the upper. The use of White on the Swoosh and heel tab really make the branding pop, a nice touch to the otherwise drab color scheme.
