Many want to argue and complain but the point is Kane or Rakim could easily destroy your number one rapper (except aundre 3000) in a battle. I exclude 3 stacks because he is on another planet like Kane and Rakim. So check there resume and check the dates, the flows are better back then than most rappers spit'n right now.
thats a bias statement that rakim was the greatest rapper of all time. he was a good rapper in the 80's through the 90's. by far the greatest rapper over all is 2-pac shakur. check his record sales to date. check the movie acting. so what he ended some rappers careers. llcool-j did too and end up defeated at the end.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't say who sold the most records. For the art of rap and lyrical content you can put any verse from Rakim up against any rapper with the exception of Kane and Andre 3000 going toe to toe and Rakim will be hands down the better lyricist. Rakim never had any problem with expression in his career. 2-pac like nas would say one thing and contradict them selves with there next record making them great artist easily in any body's top 10 but not the greatest of all time. LL eventually got ghost writers so he's eliminated but still in my top 10.
