With the Year of the Tiger rapidly approaching its should be of little surprise to see a few brands salute the Chinese new year. Reebok’s Year of the Tiger Pack is a great example of this. Next to pay its respects is Nike by way of this overhauled Cortez.
The shoes are based on the mythical white tiger and thats more than evident with its striping and fur lined upper. The nylon panels house the tonal white stripes while the swoosh, heel tab, toebox and lace plate all are draped in the faux fur. The leather tongue is embossed with the chinese character for tiger and the date of the new year can be found on the sockliner. No word if they are dropping in the states but we sure hope so.
