How To Remove Yellowing on AJKO’s courtesy of kicksonfire.com

Photobucket

With the AJKO dropping on Saturday some of you are probably interested but bothered by that pesky pre-yellowed sole on them. Well while checking out TSG we stumbled across this information that may be of some help to you. According to the site the yellowing effect can be removed however this is to be done at your own risk.

Apparently the yellowing effect can be simply washed off with liberal amounts of soap and water, using baby wipes or nail polish remover. Sea Glow was also mentioned but that may be slightly harder to come across. Are any of you out there planning on copping them and removing the vintage look? If so please let us know what works for you so we can keep the rest of the readers up to date.

Look what we have here. Our Boy E from Top Shelf Sneakers managed to get his hands of a pair of the Air Jordan 1 AJKO Retro in the white/varsity red/black colorway a little early. Ever since we first saw these back in October, people have been worried about the faux yellowing on the sole. E gives us his opinion on the yellowing as well as the the treatment Nike decided to give to the outsole as well. Did Nike give the AJ1 the retro treatment we all hoped for? Check out the video and see what E thinks. These are set to release on Saturday, March 27, 2010, along with the white/varsity red pair. As always make sure you leave a comment and rate the video.
